These web pages serve as a resource for those writing course syllabuses. The material provided includes general advice and suggestions as well as information about important rules and guidelines for course syllabuses that can be found in both local regulations and the Higher Education Ordinance.

PLEASE NOTE

After March 15, Gubas and Convertus can no longer be used to create new syllabuses; you can only use them to view existing syllabuses and reading lists. On April 15, 2024, Gubas Kursplan will be replaced by the national system Ladok. Read more about the transition here (login required). This web resource will be updated in conjunction with the transition.

State the name of the department responsible for the course. State if more than one department participate in the course.

State the decision date for the confirmation of the syllabus and the date and semester from which the syllabus will take effect.

State whether the syllabus has been revised and make reference to previous confirmation decisions for the syllabus.

When confirming the course syllabus, the decision-maker must request that a gender equality perspective has been taken into account in the preparation of the course content and design.

The syllabus should be established and available to students no later than eight weeks before the start of the course and must be established and available to students no later than two weeks before the start of the course.
